We have noticed in the past year more people are deciding to remodel instead of build, make their own vacation spot in their backyard, and enjoy the outdoors. One addition that people have started adding on is an outdoor kitchen. Maybe you already have that swimming pool, beautiful new patio, or gorgeous green landscaped yard. The next step could be a fabulous outdoor kitchen to pull everything together. Outdoor kitchens can be as simple as a grill or as extravagant as the setup in the picture above by Viking Outdoor Appliances. Remember when you are planning your outdoor kitchen to make sure you add all the essentials you like to use for example of course the Grill, a side gas burner for cooking, refrigerator, warming drawer, sink, icemaker & storage. As we see new things change every year like cars and computers, we also see these same changes in the appliance industry. The days of just a charcoal grill sitting in your backyard is no longer the only option.

The layout of an outdoor kitchen is also very important. You want to make sure the grill is your center piece and then everything else should be placed around the grill. You will need a place for preparation of your food so some nice counter space for slicing, chopping and dicing should be close to your grill. Along with storage for your utensils, and if you decided on a warming drawer this should also be placed close by. Today, more and more people want to have a healthy lifestyle, one that includes healthy eating and food preparation.
