Bought this in July. Had to download the manual to learn how to use the settings and the options. Still learning. Washer does a great job and is very quiet. I like the fact that it is energy efficient. Happy I chose this brand over others that I was looking at. It was rated higher too.

I am loving this machine From the first load clothes were looking brighter and cleaner. This was especially true of some of my husbands t shirts he had washed with dark socks. I tried everything to fix this. Bleach didnt change a thing. Soaking in hot water no luck. But I saw huge improvement after one load with OxiClean in a normal wash load I expect continued great things from my fabulous and beautiful new LG washer. Life IS Good

IVE HAD THIS WASHER FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND IT IS GREAT EXCEPT IN ONE AREA. IT LEAVES A VERY BAD SMELL THAT COVERS MY ENTIRE APARTMENT 16 HOURS AFTER EACH WASH. IVE DONE THE TUB CLEAN AS DIRECTED BUT 16 HOURS AFTER THE TUB CLEAN WITHOUT WASHING ANY CLOTHES IT STILL FILLS MY HOME WITH A VERY BAD ODOR. OUTSIDE OF THIS ONE FLAW THE WASHER IS GREAT AND I STILL WANT TO LOVE IT.

I am thrilled with my new washer I had no idea how badly my old washer was doing until I washed a normal load. I washed some originally white t shirts of my husbands along with other whites and lights. Machine is generally as expected but am overall unhappy with the purchase and customer service. The lid will only stay open if it is completely upright so you need to ensure that you have have roughly an additional 20 inches of space above the dimensions for it to stay open for hands-free loading. Customer service was poor. Price had changed before I received the unit and they refused to do anything about it. Recommended that I return the unit and pay the restocking fee even though I hadnt received the unit yet. Redirected me to the Korean support team LGCNS which was not friendly or helpful. Delivery was OK but they left the floor very wet and dirty. We were able to clean around the unit but of course couldnt clean underneath given there is now a washer there. Also the dump hose length is too short so we are limited in how we can position the washer. Cannot speak to reliability yet as we just received the machine.

I dont need am appliance that can calculate a re-entry vector I need a washing machine that will do all the simple things. This thing is so frustrating I need a martini and a hydroxizine so I dont take a hammer to it. I should not have to search YouTube for a video to learn how to do a simple rinse and spin. I need a washing machine that will let me add water to any cycle. This model switches to Deep Wash if I try. I do not need to Deep Wash my kitchen towels. I do not need to Deep Wash my jeans. I do not need to Deep Wash my sheets. And the bedding cycle fills the entire drum with water no matter how many sheets you put it. Thats about 40 gallons of water I swear some of these machines must be designed by men who have never done laundry in their lives. Its infuriating. The manual is useless. I would return it if I could

I say finally its time for 11 years were had a front load washer and I got so tired of socks and underwear tumbling out upon the door opening. We found ourselves in need of a new washer and wed already decided it would be a top loader. We went to Home Depot and became educated on every model. We decided on the LG. To name a few standout features the inside tub walls has far more raised bump-outs to do a more thorough job of cleaning your clothes secondly different than most other brands the lid is high grade plastic assuring the hinges and bottom of the lid will not rust from constant contact with water as most others are metal sure to rust over time. Lastly LG offers a excellent warranty. We are completely satisfied with our purchase and looking forward to the matching dryer arriving soon.

Getting hold of LG was not a good experience. Then digging through moving boxes to find the proof of purchase receipt was way too challenging. Then LG sent us to a thrid party computer company that had the RUDEST receptionist I have ever delt with. It took 12 days to have the washer fixed. My cloths were ruined. The only good thing was the repair person. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

After 15 years of using a LG front-load washer without any issues while the kids were growing up we are now enjoying this LG top-load washer in our new home. Loading seems a lot easier as we are aging and need to go easy on our backs. We love it that we can comfortably stand and watch thru the see-through lid as the cycle begins and make sure nothing is out of place eg. unbalanced load. I also noticed that it is quite water-efficient and doesnt fill as much water as I thought it would need for each load given the large size of the drum. I did wonder about some parts of clothing not getting fully covered by water initially but the lightly-soiled clothes come out clean enough. Dials are labeled well and easy to read with user-friendly options for various kinds of load though not as many options as we had on the front-load machine eg. perm-press. Large drum capacity for any kind of bedding adds to the ease of loading from top. An important point we had to consider for finalizing our purchase was that the height with lid open was much more than the clearance given under the cabinets in the laundry room. We requested the builder to raise the cabinets and they thankfully obliged. So no issue on that aspect now though the top shelves of the cabinets are now a little beyond our reach. Not a concern for us but it may be for other potential buyers. Overall we have been very happy with LG washer/dryer performance the past and we hope the experience will continue with this new set.

I bought this washer 6 months ago and the regular setting leaves many of my clothes dry and still dirty with food particles still present - I have kids. I have tricked it by using the full water bedding setting but that is not a reasonable solution. In addition even on the bedding setting my clothes often still have food particles on them for lack of adequate washing/cleaning. I have tried to get my machine checked or serviced by LG but I cant get the machine connected to their smart system and no one has returned my online requests. So my low review is either because 1. because I have a lemon machine or one with sensors that arent working properly and I cant get any help from customer service or 2. if my machine doesnt have anything wrong with it then it just doesnt get clothes clean or fill up with sufficient water to get all of the clothes wet.

I received my washer a couple of weeks ago and what a difference this machine has made with my laundry experience. First of all it is the largest washer Ive ever had and my first machine without an agitator. Im no longer afraid that my comforter and/or blankets will tear my machine up. My king bedding fit just fine with a lil room to spare. No more banging and rumblings due to uneven loads. I can barely hear this washer work. And work it does as my clothes come out cleaner then ever. I have a pet. I always shake off excess hair or use a sticky hair/lent remover before adding to my laundry. And Ive always used these lil balls purchased to help get rid of pet hair in the washer and the dryer. The balls have always helped but with this new machine and the balls Im seeing no pet hair. Thats a big plus for me. So easy to figure out the setting you want based on your load. So far I am very happy. Ill check back in 6mos or so.
